This year's Executive Committee have felt that QM students are perhaps not aware of Student Parliament, nor realise the importance of it, and have been trying to think of ways to promote the democratic body better.
The posters around campus which say things like 'QM students are happy with their education' or 'QMU is a perfect higher education institution' are designed to make students think about their quality of education and encourage you to challenge it.
The University are very proud of Parliament and keen to engage students to help QMU develop. However, having seen relatively poor turnout at meetings (compared with registered members), the chance for students to affect change within QM is becoming more and more limited.
Check the Student Parliament pages for more information.
