
Queen Margaret University will once again be taking part in the annual Remembrance Day Service held at the University of Edinburgh's Old College.
Queen Margaret, Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt and Napier Universities will take part in the wreath-laying ceremony.
If you would like to join the Service in the Playfair Library and the Robed Procession, then please let Isobel Lister know by close of play on Friday 17th October.
The programme will be:
Remembrance Day Service - Sunday 9th November 2008
A Remembrance Day Service will be held in the Playfair Library Hall, Old College, on Sunday 9th November, starting at 10.20 a.m.
10.00 a.m. Members of the procession are invited to assemble in the Elder Room, Old College, for robing.
10.17 a.m. Members of the procession will enter the Playfair Library Hall and take seats in the front rows on the right.
10.50 a.m. Members of the procession will leave the Hall (by the alcove door) for the Quadrangle and
for the Silence/Wreath Laying.
11.05 a.m. Members of the procession, led by the four Principals or their representatives, will move along the SOUTH
side of the Quadrangle where members will pause while the Forces contingent marches past.
11.10 a.m. Coffee will be served in the Raeburn Room.
