QMU Physiotherapy Society
The Physiotherapy Society was established this year for various reasons outlined below:
· To provide a framework for currently existing activities throughout all years of physiotherapy which would make communication between years and recognition for the individuals already organising these activities possible.
· To provide a source of funds for visiting lectures for the benefit of all physiotherapy years.
· To aid communication between CSP reps, class reps and individual students.
· To provide a platform for all students to express their opinion through their years society representatives.
· To encourage each year to organize fundraising to subsidise yearly activities.
The structure of the society is such that regular meetings aid communication between physiotherapy society representatives, representatives from various committees and groups from each year, and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy student representatives. Two elected students from each year represent the general consensus of the year for decisions involving distribution of funds and fundraising ideas.
