Psychology Society - QMPS

 

The objectives of the QMPS are to facilitate the provision of psychological knowledge to all interested staff and students of QueenMargaretUniversity through:

 

- regular seminars

 

- promotion of study and discussion groups

 

- provision of a facility for psychology text books to be advertised and swapped

 

- debates covering key issues in psychology

 

- facilitation of technical discussions between students and staff on psychology materials

 

- facilitating the availability of research participants to assist all psychology students in the completion of required research projects such as dissertations

 

We have 4 committee members who arrange seminars and update the website:

 

President     Justyna Mordal (3rd Year Psychology Student)            

 

Cost is £2.50 for the year which will include all seminars and access to the Facebook site.  Please note that there is also a £5 Students Union Card which each member will need to purchase if they have not already got one.

We also have a group site on Facebook (Queen Margaret University Psychological Society - QMPS) which is open to everyone until the end of October when it will then only be available to members.
