Women's Football
Hello to all current, future and opposition players who have stumbled across our page! So a wee bit about us, Queen Margaret Women's Football Club is entering it's 6th year in the season 2007/08. We play in the BUSA Scottish Conference 2A against 8 other university teams.
As yet we're not sure when or where we're training or playing, but we'll let you know as soon as we do. Matches are on a Wednesday afternoon which hopefully the University will have accounted for by not giving us any classes!
The team has had some relative success in the last couple of seasons i.e. winning the occasional game! Despite this we have a great team spirit, enjoy frequent nights out and won Team of the Year at the 2005/06 Sports Ball.
All ages and abilities are welcome, many of our players have never played a full football match before they joined a team, while others play in the Scottish Women’s League at weekends.
