Following a recent change in the Scottish Higher Education Governance Act, there are vacancies for two student representatives on Senate, bringing the total student membership to 4 including the Student President and Vice-President. Senate is the highest academic board within the University and meets 4-5 times per year to consider a range of topics such as the National Student Survey results, Portfolio Review, and Awards of the University.

Class Reps are being offered the opportunity to nominate themselves to be a student representative on Senate. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and ensure that the student body has a strong voice in the University’s key academic decisions and actions.
