Mental Health

Mental health is something that can affect anyone

Life can be challenging, especially if you are away from home. Issues such as bereavement, health, financial problems and lifestyle changes can all impact on your wellbeing. Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to go for help...

The Helpzone, in the QMUSU office, can listen to you in confidence, and offer advice on what steps to take next. From depression to eating disorders and panic attacks, a huge range of support is available. Whether it is you, a friend or a relative who is affected, we can help. With the right support and care, mental health problems can be managed.

We are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Outside those hours there are many organisations that can provide helpline support and self help guidance.
