Stewart - Student President

**Update 18/05/18: We have initiated a conversation with the university's Head of Estates & Facilities who has welcomed the student feedback and praised the positive engagement in Your Voice, Your Ideas. Implementing this idea presents a number of challenges, and given the time of year there are no guarantees at this stage, however the university are now exploring potential options.

**Update 18/10/18: After ongoing discussions, the University's Head of Estates & Facilities has unfortunately confirmed that it will not be possible to offer onsite storage to students. There will be information available from Accommodation Services towards the end of the academic year to help students find alternative offsite options for storage.

The moving-out-date is coming closer and students face the issue of where to put all their belongings.

My suggestion is to use a few rooms in the university that would be empty during the summer holidays as a storage space. This would make it easier for national and international students and for those who plan to stay in halls next year. QMU's image would become more student friendly, too.
