A statement on the ongoing UK riots from your Student Officers: 

We are notably appalled by the ongoing riots taking place throughout the UK. 

As a Students’ Union, we condemn all forms of racism and prejudice and would like to extend our solidarity and support to our migrant, Muslim and racialised communities who are the targets of this ongoing violence.  

We understand that these riots will be cause for anxiety amongst our affected student communities and families and would encourage anyone feeling anxious to access the support services offered by ourselves and the University.
