How do you feel about winning a STaR Award this year?

I’m honoured to know that my students value the work that I feel so privileged to do with them, and I was also thrilled to see so many fellow staff and students from Media, Communications and Performing arts receiving nominations and wins on the night.

 

What have you done/do you plan to do with your certificate and trophy?

They’re both sitting on my desk at the moment, and the trophy, at least, will be staying there.

 

What do you enjoy most about your role at QMU?

The thing I love most about my job is that I get to spend my days talking about cinema, television, games and online culture with smart young people who are eager to go out and have an impact on the world around them.
