Welcome to QMU Dance!

 

 

QMU Dance strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment in which all members can learn new dance skills regardless of previous experience and abilities. We offer both recreational and competition classes throughout the year. Our Competition Teams compete across the country in Semester 2. Our styles entering the 23/24 season are Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Highland.

For those who do not wish to compete, our recreational classes train weekly in Modern, Hip Hop, Commercial and Heels - with the new addition of a technique class. Alongside this, all of our members have the opportunity to participate in our end-of-year Showcase, which will be held in April 2024. Dance is a fantastic way to take a break from University to relax, enjoy yourself, and meet new people. Keep an eye out for our Semester 1 timetable on socials!

 

 

Throughout the academic year we will be hosting exciting events for all members to attend - from ceilidhs to bingo, to nights out and movie nights, there's something for everyone.
