Welcome to the QMU Food Pantry!

We are here to give students access to affordable, delicious, and fresh food. All for just £2 a week. The Food Pantry welcomes all students -  undergraduate or post-graduate, mature or fresh out of high school – please come and say hi!

We offer fresh fruit and veg, cupboard essentials such as pasta, bread, cereal, tinned foods, sweet treats, and much more. Every week, the products will be different so you'll be sure to find something new and interesting.
We understand that budgeting can be hard for every student, especially with the rising cost of living.

First come first serve - so we recommend coming a bit earlier~our queue runs via online check in!

So let us take some of the stress out of managing your budget at University.
We run the food pantry every Wednesday from 2 PM next to Guthries (Previously 1875) in front of the window front, next to the microwaves. We are open until the food is gone! 
 

On the day before the pantry, we normally post about the food that is provided that week as well as recipe ideas on IG stories and Facebook. This year we will also be adding a QR code to the pantry setup, which you can scan to find delicious recipes catered to the ingredients provided that pantry week. 

Next to visiting us as a member, you can also help out as a volunteer with us. This can be an excellent opportunity to meet new people, grab delicious food for free, pimp up your CV and be part of a great cause!
