QMU Speech & Language Therapy Society

The QMU Speech and Language Therapy Society welcomes everyone who has an interest in Speech and Language Therapy (SLT). 

We aim to host events and workshops for both students and lecturers outside of the teaching environment. We also host some social events throughout the year to allow students to get to know each other outside of the classroom.  

Previous academic events have included a workshop by Wiltshire Farm Food on modified textures, a talk from Hearing Dogs and a workshop on Trans and Gender Diverse Voice Therapy

Every year we try to fundraise for an SLT related charity, through events or through a JustGiving page. Last year we raised money for Headway! 

We rely on you, our members! So please get involved. You can meet us at the freshers fair and give it a go. We might have some goodies at the stall so please stop by :)

Once you've purchased low affiliation, it will unlock the SLT membership which you will then be able to purchase.  If you have already purchased medium or high affiliation, the membership will already be unlocked.
