QMU Speech & Language Therapy Society

The QMU Speech and Language Therapy Society welcomes everyone who has an interest in Speech and Language Therapy (SLT). 

We aim to host events and workshops for both students and lecturers outside of the teaching environment while also connecting with other SLT societies and organisations such as the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and CALL Scotland.  

Examples of previous and future events include a makaton workshop, an augmentative alternative communication (AAC) workshop and modified food tasting. Additionally we have a monthly newsletter for members highlighting upcoming events and exciting news or updates. 

Something worth noting is that we try to fundraise every year for an SLT related charity, whether it be through an event or through a just giving page. 

We rely on you, our members! So please get involved. You can meet us at the freshers fair and give it a go. We might have some goodies at the stall so please stop by :)
